Very Rare 1970’s James Shay Navajo Vintage Sterling Silver Spider Turquoise Bracelet. This is a lovely handcrafted sterling silver bracelet by Navajo silversmith artist James Shay. Signed Hallmark JS, Sterling. James Shay’s pieces are featured in “Hallmarks of the Southwest” book, by Barton Wright. He is a Navajo artist with amazing skills.
This piece has 11 spider turquoise stones, in various sizes and a Bear Claw.
The edges have a twisted wire rope and stamping. There are silver balls and curled silver coils as accents. At the sides, there is simple linear stamping.
