1930’s Lone Mountain Spiderweb Turquoise Navajo Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet. This rare vintage Navajo bracelet features 12 Lone Mountain turquoise stones set in heavy solid sterling silver. This handmade vintage bracelet is very high quality. The sterling silver has oxidized perfectly. You can own a part of American history from the early 1900’s. This unique one-of-kind turquoise cuff bracelet was handmade by Navajo jewelry maker and mostly sold along side of the railroads to travelers exploring the west.

The Lone Mountain turquoise mine produces some of the most famous and highly desired of the Nevada turquoise. Claimed in 1920 by Lee Hand as the Blue Jay Mining Lode, it was later renamed Lone Mountain. The mine has produced very exceptional quality turquoise including both a beautiful clear blue as well as fine dark blue web. Occasionally, pseudo-morphs (cavities formed from decaying organic remains like plants or clam shells in which turquoise then forms) can be found but are quickly snatched up by collectors.

Lone Mountain mine once produced a great variety of turquoise, included some of the finest examples of spider web turquoise as well as clear, deep-blue stones. Among all “classic” Southwestern turquoise, only Lander Blue is more valuable.
